Pramod Maduwantha is a Sri Lankan cricketer now aged 25.He made his first-class debut for Moors Sports Club in the 2016–17 Premier League Tournament on 28 December 2016.[2] He made his List A debut for Nuwara Eliya District in the 2016–17 Districts One Day Tournament on 21 March 2017.[3] He was the leading run-scorer for Saracens Sports Club in the 2018–19 Premier League Tournament, with 729 runs in eight matches.[. Pramod currently averages over 50 in 1st class cricket with 3 centuries including a fabulous 217 against Tamil Union in 2018. As a bowler Promod is also very good he is starting to be used in 1st class cricketer and is the latest ‘mystery spinner’ he has over 30 wickets so far and will get many more. Pramod came to the UK in 2018 to play for Egerton C.C. in the GMCL he scored over 800 runs and 40 wickets in a great 1st season in the UK in 2019 Pramod was selected to play for the Sri Lankan Emerging Players against South Africa and during that series he struck a wonderful 111 and took 2/20 with the ball. Pramod has now been over in 2021 and in 2022 with Great success both times latterly guiding Lancashire League side Enfield C.C. to promotion with 453 runs from just 10 innings and 7 not outs to average an incredible 141.66 he also took 24 wickets from just over 100 overs at an average of 15 each, unsurprisingly Enfield have moved quickly to re-engage him for 2024
