Over a Professional career spanning over 14 years Martin Walters racked up over 4,500 runs at an average better than 30 he also captained the Boland Province for many years and played franchise cricket for Cape Cobras. He scored 9 Hundreds and 19 scores over 50 with a high of 180 not out. Martin finished his career in April 2019 in order to permenantly settle in the UK. Having played club cricket in the UK for many years with great success Martin signed as professional for Prestwich C.C. where he continued to rack up the big numbers season after season. Indeed in 2021 he captain the side to the league and cup double whilst also amassing 1100 runs himself. Now resident in Manchester Martin has re-signed with Heywood C.C. for 2023 and there will not be Many better bats than him based in the UK
