Whisper this quietly but Krishan Lyngdoh could be the next star of Indian Cricket, so far the batting all rounder has only played 5 T20 Games for Meghalaya’s state side but what an impact he has made he averages 61.75 from those 5 games with 3 x 50 and a high of 85 not out from those 5 knocks. He really has announced himself on the Indian domestic scene and many top players are talking about him in glowing terms. His 85 came against a powerful experience Tripura side in early November 2021 when he dominated an unbeaten opening Partnership of 147 with classy opening partner Chirag Khuruna to guide Meghalaya to a 10 wicket win and since then he has hit 52 against Mizoram from 30 balls and lastly 82 against Arunachal from just 52 balls and again sharing a 138 opening stand with Khuruna. On top of his obvious batting talent he is also a very decent fast medium bowler and whilst he is yet to play 1st class the 1st game in the 1st class competition is early January 2022 and his 5 games will be complete by early February and he is a certainty to play. Again for the 1st time Kishan is happy to come for a modest fee and he would be an absolutely brilliant signing.
