Michael Erlank had a meteoric start to his 1st class career, he was identified as a schoolboy as a batsman of immense talent and was fast tracked into the Knights FULL Franchise side as an 18 year old, his career since has been stop start due to injury but now he is back playing regularly he is beginning to find the kind of form he showed in those early years. Mike came to the UK in 2012 to play for Ribblesdale Wanderers and despite a rain ravaged summer still managed to rack up over 700 runs at an average in excess of 40 plus 45 wickets with his excellent spin. With his pedigree track record and coaching ability it is no surprise the Lancashire League Club Accrington C.C. moved quickly to secure Mike for 2017 and despite a nightmare with the weather he ended up with respectable stats, he recorded  500 runs and took 35 wickets averaging 17 each. Mike travelled to Ireland in 2018 to play for Eglington C.C. he had another terrific season with 785 runs at an average of 46 plus 40 wickets at 15 each. Mike re-signed for Eglington for a 3rd year in 2020 but was unable to travel over but did return in 2022 where yet again he turned in some stellar performances with both bat and ball a hugely popular figure at the club an excellent coach he re-signed for 2023 and turned in another excellent season with plenty of runs and wickets. Mike is not just a match pro he gets fully involved in the coaching and all other aspects of club life a true professional in every sense of the word.
