Born into a cricketing family – his uncle, father and brother are all cricketers – Peter Moor has held a lifelong fascination for the game, taking it up aged just five. A product of the prestigious St John’s College, Moor holds the record for the school’s highest individual score, 214 not out. His talent as a wicket-keeper batsman was recognised young, and he was picked for the Zimbabwe Under-19 side as a 16 year old and represented them at two youth World Cups, in 2008 and 2010. P J has played International Cricket at Test Level and averages 35 with the bat with 5 half centuries and a high score of 83 and this from only 8 test appearances. P J has 49 ODIs and a further 21 T20 Internationals behind his name with healthy averages in both formats. In league cricket P J has made a couple of visits to the UK playing for CIYMS in the NCU and latterly for Weybridge where he scored 360 runs from just 13 innings. P.J. Moor has played cricket all over the world has a fabulous reputation in the game and is now ready to make a further trip to the UK in 2021 and a combination of his undoubted ability and his Irish Passport makes him a fantastic Option.
