Driaan Bruwer is a South African first-class cricketer. a talented powerful top order batsman and better than average off spinner. He was part of South Africa’s squad for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup that won the tournament. He was included in the Free State cricket team squad for the 2015 Africa T20 Cup. He made his List A debut for Free State in the 2016–17 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on 9 October 2016.Since then he has appeared regularly for the Northern Cape Provincial side where in 18 matches he averages over 30 and has scored 1 century and 7 fifties with the ball he is starting to be used on a more regular basis and in league cricket could easily be classed a sa genuine all rounder. Driaan also has UK experience he came over to the UK in 2017 to play in the Kent Premier League for Linden Park C.C. where he scored 566 runs averaging over 40 from 16 knock and and took22 wickets at an average a shade over 20 each. Driaan is now looking to come over to the UK again in 2019 and he represents an excellent option for UK League cricket.
