Barghav Bhatt – India

Bhargav Bhatt made a huge impact in his debut season, picking up 47 wickets in nine matches to lead the Ranji Trophy wicket-takers tally and steer Baroda to the finals. It capped a stunning rise for a bowler who until three years before his Ranji Trophy debut, was not even a regular in the Baroda Under-19 side. His Ranji exploits caught the eye of the IPL talent scouts, and he was drafted into the Kings XI Punjab side. He impressed in the home game against the higher-ranked Mumbai Indians, with a four-wicket haul that earned him the Man-of-the-Match award. He now averages 27 per wicket and has over 250 scalps across the 3 formats with 186 at 1st class level. Barghav is also a handy lower order bat who gets very few opportunities but would be certain to contribute at League level. He would be a great pick for a club looking for a class spinner who can bat for 2019
